Careers Assignment

The seventh graders have an assignment due on Monday, December 1st.  (Holy cow, December already?!) They need to complete page 7 in Task One (a packet) and you need to do page 8.  Please sign the page once you have completed it.  It's pretty easy to complete, just tell me about your child.  

Careers

We have officially finished our geography unit! Today we began talking about careers. We discussed the different possible careers out there. Then the students took an interest inventory to see what they might be good at. We will be doing several of these inventories, on paper and on the computer. By the end of this unit each student should be familiar with at least one career they might be interested in. They will use this career information to create a project. I started this blog as a way for parents and students to stay up to date on what's happening in seventh grade social studies.  I can't promise daily updates, but I can promise that I will try to post when I get the chance.  My hope is to post assignments, classroom activities and other "what's happening" information.  Please remember this is entirely a work in progress.
